The responsibility of food safety and quality is seen as an integral part of every employee at Afoodable and controlled by an internal lab with qualified food technologists. An SABS audited HACCP system was implemented in 2006.
Versatile production equipment includes cooking vessels and cold emulsifiers and mixers for the preparation of specific sauces. Various fillers are available depending on the products and inline finishing and labelling.
Additional facilities include inline hot fill for glass products with a post Pasteuriser used mainly for export long life shelf stable products without preservatives.
A local distribution network is supported by the Companies own fleet of vehicles. Afoodable is an approved Muslim Judicial Council manufacturer.
